About …….TAYLOR WANE

I’m a 20 year veteran of Adult Erotica. An AVN Hall of Fame inductee and Legends of Erotica Hall of Famer. I started off my career as a model in Newcastle, England where I grew up. I really wanted to be a Kindergarten teacher and was training to do so, but life had a different plan for me and led me in another direction. After winning a national contest for Calendar Girl of the Year, I was signed by an model agency and began my career as a spoke-model doing a lot of work for beer companies!

One job led me to London, where I met a boy and moved in with him. I joined a modeling agency in London, and a photographer talked me into doing topless work and some Page 3 (famous in the UK). I quickly became a popular topless/nude model in all of the UK publications and gained notoriety as one of Britain’s top glamour models, often making the papers of newspapers and tabloids. One of my model girlfriends told me about LA and that I should try to do some work State Side. The idea of Hollywood was exciting and it didn’t take much talking me into flying to America!

I first visited New York city, where I was to meet with the Editors of all the top mens magazines in the States. Sitting at a bar  in Times Sq, I ordered a drink and my accent inspired the folks next to me to start a conversation. It was a married couple and they turned out to be Porn Stars (Trinity Loren and Shane Hunter). I was shocked a little, as I had never met a porn star, and porn was not that popular or available in the UK. After hanging out with them and having a good laugh that night they suggested I visit their home in LA, which I did.  I stayed with them for 8 months and modeled for all the magazines in the US, including Swank, Gallery, Oui, Hustler, High Society, Club, etc, etc…. Not loving LA at first I was happy to return to London.

Standing at a bus stop 5,30 am on a rainy, cold winter morning I day dreamed about my time in Los Angeles. The warmth, the excitement, the lifestyle, and the lack of Rain. I couldn’t imagine why I had been so eager to leave, I called my friend Trinity begging the question ” How can I return”. She said she would put on her thinking cap, which she did. Trinity came back with the suggestion I do an adult film and she would talk the producer into buying me a plane ticket back to LA. I had never really wanted to do Adult Movies but I did want to return to LA so I agreed to do it.

My first movie is not worth talking about, and I barely remember anything about it. However, my next job was with Patty Rhodes, and she booked me on two movies at once. My first on camera male talent was Randy West, and we did it on a pool table. I remember being terrified that I would forget the one line of dialog I had, the sex was the thing that was scaring me, just that bloody line of dialog. The sex came natural, I did what I felt seemed natural. I had always loved sex, and sometimes could be a bit of a show off in the bed room, so this really helped when the camera turned on! Once I did those two movie, history was written, I was smitten with my new found career. I had no idea back in 1989 that my career would span almost 20 years. I never lost that passion I felt when the camera turned on, the desire to let go and be wild. On and off camera I come alive when Im having sex, its intoxicating and sets me on fire.

I’ve also had the opportunity to do so many wonderful things since I came to LA, being published in so many great publications and making the cover of PENTHOUSE magazine was a huge deal for me. I’m proud to be a PENTHOUSE PET and it meant so much to me the day I saw my face on the cover, at the newsstand. Another achievement that I am so proud of is being a PLAYBOY RADIO HOST, which I have done now for over 2 years. The show that primed me for Playboy was my THE BRITISH ARE COMING, on K Sex Radio, which I won a couple of awards for Best On Air Personality and Funniest On Air Personality. I hosted that show with Dick Nasty, and we had a blast each and every time we went on air. I now have the pleasure and good fortune to spend 2 hours a week LIVE taking  live calls on Playboy – Private Calls (tuesdays 7pm PST, sirius, XM 99) from my fans and answering questions or sharing erotic stories. It’s fantastic!!

As if I weren’t busy enough I still make time to audition and to act in Main stream project or shows. It’s a kick for me to get onto  a regular show or movie. Last year I worked on State of Play (ben afflict movie) and on Frost Nixon and Met Ron Howard. I also worked on Millionaire Matchmaker and Nip Tuck to name a few.
